There are definitely some pieces that I am LONGING to add to my wardrobe this month. These are the main items that come to mind.
Throughout the winter-time I have really gotten into knee-high socks and thigh-high socks. They go with my short shorts, dresses, skirts, and over sized sweaters, not to mention suuuuper high wedges, peep-toe shoes, and little booties. They're warm and, I think, extremely cute.
My only problem with American Apparel is a serious one. Their pricing! I understand that all of the clothes are made in Downtown Los Angeles (American-made, YAY!), and that they're manufactured beautifully but wow! I just gasp every time I go onto their website. It pains me when I find, literally, hundreds of items that I love when they are all severely overpriced. I mean, come on! $18 for a pair of socks....

In my mind, a good pair of high waisted shorts is an essential and these are very alluring. I spotted these not too long ago, and fell head over heals. Not to mention, maroon is one of my favorite colors to wear.
Alright, obviously I'm not expecting to get this bag anytime soon, being that it's expensive as hell. But can we just take a second to appreciate the beauty. First off, the color. Beige is weirdly, one of my most worn colors and this texture adds some much loved dimension to the bag. Second, the shoulder strap. Such a small feature, but I am almost never attracted to a purse if it doesn't have a shoulder strap (except for my Louis Vuitton Speedy). It makes the overall look more laid back and approachable. And of course, the stud pickups on the bottom. It's so often overlooked, but I'm sorry, if I'm spending this much money on a bag I don't even want the bottom getting dirty. And this makes that worry of mine, disappear.
All in all, this is my lust of the month.
It's unique, it's stylish, it's unusual, it's gorgeous. It's a simple love.
